McLaren drivers insist Renault still a threat for P4

McLaren duo Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lando Norris have insisted that Renault remains a threat in the race for fourth in the standings, despite the manufacturer’s Japanese Grand Prix exclusion. Renault was found guilty of breaching the Sporting Regulations regarding the use of a driver aid, and was stripped of the points it earned at Suzuka. That means McLaren now holds a 43-point advantage over Renault with just four rounds of the 2019 season remaining.
