Vettel given two penalty points for race defining incident

Canadian Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has been given two penalty points on top of his time penalty that robbed him of victory in Montreal. Vettel made a critical error during Sunday's race, while pushing under pressure from the pursuing Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton. Going through Turn 4, the rear of the Ferrari came loose and Vettel had to go across the grass in order to rescue the situation. Rejoining the track, Vettel managed to scrabble away still holding the lead, having blocked Lewis Hamilton from overtaking him. The stewards investigated, handing him a time penalty for the incident. This meant Vettel crossed the line as the leader, but effectively five seconds behind...
