Pirelli expecting variety on strategy in Canada
Pirelli is expecting a lot of variety on strategy during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Teams will have the C3, C4 and C5 compounds available to them, the softest in Pirelli's tyre range. Speaking ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, Pirelli boss Mario Isola explained the difficulties facing the teams when they arrive at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. “Broadly speaking, our nomination for Canada is about the same as last year, when the hypersoft also made its second appearance of the year after Monaco,” he said in the tyre manufacturers preview. “The main difference is that the hardest compound available this weekend is a bit harder than last year as there is no equivalent...
