Big praise for 'clever' Albon

Alexander Albon has received plenty of praise for his performances this season and scored his best finish yet at the Monaco Grand Prix with eighth in Monaco. And now Ross Brawn has waded in with praise for Albon, who almost raced in Formula E before a last minute call to join Toro Rosso at the back end of last year. Brawn said: "It's Alexander Albon who is proving to be the biggest surprise and the most successful of this year's three rookies. "In Monaco, the Thai driver proved he was clever as well as quick, especially when it came to managing his tyres, and he rattled off no fewer than 40 laps on the softs he'd used in qualifying.
