Sao Paulo council say Brazil GP will stay at Interlagos
Earlier in the month, Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro announced that the Brazilian GP would be moved to a new track in Rio de Janeiro from 2020 onwards, despite the Interlagos track having a contract for the race. The announcement was met with surprise and Sao Paulo council have denied this. They have voted against a private sale of the circuit, and the city’s mayor, Bruno Covas, said: "There is no doubt that Sao Paulo can continue to host the grand prix.
