Charles Leclerc completes practice sweep as Ferrari dominates

Charles Leclerc completed a clean sweep of Azerbaijan Grand Prix practice sessions as he led Saturday afternoon’s running at the Baku City Circuit. In a relatively straightforward hour-long session, after Friday’s various dramas, Leclerc posted a best time of 1:41.604 as Ferrari laid down a marker. Leclerc’s best effort was 0.198s up on Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel, with third-placed Max Verstappen 1.248s down on his former karting opponent. Mercedes had a low-key showing as Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were only fourth and fifth respectively, 1.460s and 1.572s off the pace respectively.
