McLaren: We leave Bahrain pleased and encouraged

McLaren enjoyed one of their best weekends of true competitiveness not seen from them in a long time at the Bahrain Grand Prix, which ended up being a bittersweet night with rookie Lando Norris shining on the night to finish seventh but his teammate Carlos Sainz suffered another DNF. Zak Brown appears to have galvanised his troops as they walloped the Renault works team, and look to be at the sharp end of the pecking order which in turn deserves a massive round of applause for everyone at Woking.
