Day 2: Leclerc keeps Ferrari ahead

Ferrari continued their fast start to F1 2019 at pre-season testing as Charles Leclerc comfortably topped the timesheets on Day Two. Leclerc, preparing for his first season as a Ferrari race driver, lapped within a tenth of a second of team-mate Sebastian Vettel's quickest effort from Monday, clocking a time of 1:18.247. The fastest laps of F1 testing The 21-year-old's pace was a second faster than the field until the closing stages, when Lando Norris ensured McLaren once again finished the day behind only Ferrari, finishing 0.683s adrift of Leclerc.
