Day 2 Testing: Morning round-up

Charles Leclerc produced a solid run to top the morning session on day 2 of pre-season testing in Barcelona. The new Ferrari driver recorded a fastest time of 1:18:247, only a tenth slower than team mate Sebastian Vettel’s best time yesterday. Kevin Magnussen failed to complete many laps in the first half of the session, but his fortunes improved in the second half and he posted the second fastest time, just under a second slower than Leclerc. Antonio Giovinazzi impressed for Alfa Romeo, setting the third fastest time, albeit over a second behind Leclerc.
