Sims 'did not feel any contact' in Mortara clash

BMW Andretti driver Alexander Sims was left bemused by his post-race penalty at the Santiago ePrix which denied him a first-ever Formula E podium. The Briton was on course to take the final podium place in Chile, but he was judged to have made contact in an earlier battle with Edoardo Mortara, an incident which sent the Venturi driver spinning. Sims received a post-race time penalty which dropped him to seventh place, handing the final podium place to Daniel Abt. Mortara eventually finished the race in fourth.
