Raikkonen excited about "pure racing"

Kimi Raikkonen has admitted that he is looking forward to “pure racing” following his switch from Ferrari to Sauber. The Finn moved to Sauber taking Charles Leclerc’s place who went in the other direction, teaming up with Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari. Despite the step-down Raikkonen is still optimistic about racing in 2019. “I’m really looking forward to it,” Raikkonen said. “It’s going to be different in many ways, but the aim will still be the same. “It’s more pure racing than the other stuff there. “Hopefully it will turn out to be good for both of us - that’s the aim.” Added the Finn.
