Brown: Liberty going against some teams' wishes with rule changes

McLaren CEO Zak Brown has revealed that Liberty Media has no choice but to go against some teams' wishes in their plans to shake up Formula 1's "broken model". Liberty Media, F1's owner, are pushing ahead with major changes for the 2021 campaign - when a new car concept, a budget cap and a fairer revenue distribution model will all be introduced in an attempt to make the races closer and more compelling for the viewers. However, not all the teams on the grid are convinced by Liberty's vision, with big teams such as Ferrari and Mercedes reportedly sceptical about some of the alleged changes.
