Schumacher family releases statement to mark 50th birthday

Michael Schumacher during his final Formula 1 season in 2012 Michael Schumacher’s family has issued a statement to mark the Formula 1 legend’s 50th birthday, stating that they are doing “everything humanly possible to help Michael.” The statement was issued on Schumacher’s official Facebook page ahead of his birthday which takes place today (January 3) in Australia. While short on detail, owing to a desire to preserve Schumacher’s privacy, the family thanked fans for their continued support of the German since his skiing accident just over five years ago. “You can be sure that he is in the very best of hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to help him,”...
