Schumacher could be a future Mercedes driver says Wolff
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has hinted at the possibility of Mick Schumacher racing for the Silver Arrows one day. The 19-year-old won the F3 European Championships in 2018 and is due to race in Formula 2 in 2019 with Prema Racing. Schumacher impressed throughout the campaign which included victory in all three races at the Nürburgring over one weekend, before following that up with back-to-back wins at the Red Bull Ring next time out. 'Have I already offered him a contract?” Joked Wolff at German publication Bild. “He won his Formula 3 title with a Mercedes engine. “But for now we need to give it time to grow and improve.” Wolff also commented on...
