Racing Point F1 to change name before 2019 season!
Racing Point F1 team boss Otmar Szafnauer says the team has adopted an interim designation, with the outfit's permanent name to be revealed before the start of the 2019 season. The pink squad shed its original Racing Point Force India moniker when it appeared last week on the entry list for the 2019 Formula 1 world championship and was registered as Racing Point F1 Team. Lawrence Stroll targets top-3 finish for Racing Point F1 The name was suggested by the FIA as it included the identity of the company that acquired last summer the assets of the ruined Sahara Force India concern.
