Williams secures sponsorship from Polish oil giants
Williams has secured sponsorship from Polish oil and fuel company PKN Orlen, in the wake of appointing Robert Kubica to a 2019 race seat. Williams announced last Thursday that Kubica will partner George Russell next season, ending the ex-BMW and Renault racer’s eight-year absence from the grid, following his serious rally crash. PKN Orlen’s branding will feature prominently on next year’s FW42, including on the rear wing, nose, intake system, both mirrors, as well as logos on the drivers’ helmets, overalls and team kit. “Cooperation between PKN Orlen and Williams starts a new era for motorsports in Poland, as well as building the global reach of our...
