Mercedes: Lewis Hamilton's engine looks 'normal' amid penalty fears

Lewis Hamilton's power unit is performing 'normally' according to Mercedes, amid fears it was severely damaged during the Brazilian Grand Prix. Hamilton is running the same engine that powered him to victory in Brazil, however it was turned down in the final laps of the race and the team believed it was just a couple of laps away from failing completely. However the Briton ran it during practice on Friday in Abu Dhabi and reported no problems, with Mercedes monitoring it carefully to determine whether it required replacing, which could result in a grid drop.
