Liberty still chasing second US Grand Prix

Liberty Media are not giving up on plans for a second United States grand prix despite Miami falling through. Earlier this year all the talk regarded calendar expansation was around Miami joining the calendar. The plan was to hold a grand prix on the streets of the city from 2020 onward with Liberty even revealing a layout for the track. Those plans, though, fell apart when local authorities baulked at the idea. Liberty, however, are still keen on a second US race, it just may not be in Miami. F1 boss Chase Carey told Speed Week: 'The plan is to have a second race in the US. But we are not just dealing with Miami, even if we are convinced that it would be a great project.
