Marcin Budkowski warns Renault drivers Brazil will be tougher
Marcin Budkowski, Renault's CEO has warned his drivers that the team might not be as competitive in Brazil next week. Over the last two race weekends, Renault have picked up 22 World Championship points, almost sealing fourth place in the process. With Romain Grosjean unable to overturn his disqualification from the Italian Grand Prix, the gap between Haas and Renault is open at 30 points. This takes the pressure off the French team. Budkowski initially talks through the work which has created this gap. "It could have been more [points] if Carlos Sainz had not retired in Mexico City," Budkowski told Speedweek.
