Tatiana Calderon completes her Sauber shakedown run in Mexico
Sauber's development driver Tatiana Calderon drove the C37 for the first time on Tuesday, taking part in a promotional event in Mexico on behalf of a team sponsor. Calderon, who has been Sauber's development driver from the start of 2017, was given the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car for the first time when she was invited to do a promotional event at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on behalf of sponsor Telcel. The Colombian driver, currently racing in GP3 with Jenzer Motorsport, completed 23 laps of the circuit, equaling the permitted 100 kilometres of track time for a promotional filming event.
