Magnussen second driver to be excluded from US GP

Kevin Magnussen has been disqualified from the United States Grand Prix after it was found that the Haas Formula 1 driver exceeded the permitted fuel limit for the race. Magnussen had been classified in ninth place at the American squad’s home race in Austin on Sunday after recovering from 12th on the grid, only for the Dane to be excluded for consuming more than 105kg of fuel. He joins Force India’s Esteban Ocon in becoming the second driver to be disqualified from the race, with the Frenchman losing his result due to exceeding the fuel flow limit.
