Bottas and Ocon escape penalties
Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon escaped punished at the United States GP after being investigated for exceeding the maximum lap time in qualifying. Both drivers made it into Q3 at the Circuit of the Americas on Saturday afternoon. While Bottas qualified third, Ocon put his Force India up into sixth place. However, both drivers faced a nervous wait after qualifying after being investigated for 'driving unnecessarily slowly on an inlap during qualifying.'
