United States Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas gave Mercedes a one-two start to the weekend in wet conditions at the Circuit of the Americas. The Briton, who can wrap up a fifth drivers' title in Austin this weekend, set the benchmark 1:47.502 in tricky intermediate conditions, with team-mate Bottas over one second behind. The two Red Bulls will be hoping for additional rain over the rest of the weekend after taking third and fourth, with Max Verstappen leading Daniel Ricciardo.
