Vandoorne's Formula E move is confirmed
Stoffel Vandoorne's racing future is secure with confirmation that he will race for HWA Racelab in the Formula E championship. Vandoorne has been in the hunt for a new team, and a new series, after McLaren announced Lando Norris as his replacement for the 2019 F1 season. Over the weekend reports surfaced suggesting that it was only a matter of time before the Belgian racer signed with HWA. The Mercedes EQ entry confirmed the news on Monday. “I am honored that HWA have signed me for their Formula E program,” commented Vandoorne. “HWA are such a great team with a long and successful history in motorsport.
