Vandoorne on McLaren state: "We look like beginners!"
Departing McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne is not happy with the state of his team, saying that McLaren currently look like beginners with the way that they've been performing recently. The Belgian has had a very tough year, with him not being able to beat his teammate Fernando Alonso a single time in qualifying so far after 17 tries. Still, the 26-year-old has also been a victim of the very poor tools McLaren have provided him with, as he's been forced to retire through mechanical failures multiple times, and the MCL33 hasn't exactly been fast either when it did stay on track.
