Bottas admits Mercedes could use team orders again

Valtteri Bottas has admitted that he could be forced to make way for his teammate again before the 2018 season is over. The Finn was asked to let Lewis Hamilton through into the lead having controlled the Russian Grand Prix up to that point. Bottas admitted that due to his position in the championship and being so far off of his teammate in the standings, the Mercedes pit wall might be asking him to support Hamilton again in the future. "It could definitely happen again," Bottas admitted to media ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. "Yes (Mercedes have told me), and that is what I expect. I will be supporting Lewis.
