Wolff: Bottas sacrifice shows the integrity of his character

Russian Grand Prix – Mercedes's team boss Toto Wolff has heaped praise on Valtteri Bottas after the Finn handed position to Lewis Hamilton in the race at the Sochi Autodrom. Heading to Japan, Wolff spoke at length about the sacrifice his driver Valtteri Bottas was willing to make for the team, when he gave up track position to Lewis Hamilton to allow the team leader to win the race and increase his championship lead over title rival Sebastian Vettel to 50 points. Bottas said, through gritted teeth, that he was ‘taking one for the team', and his boss has paid tribute to him for doing that: 'The true strength of a team reveals itself in what individuals are prepared to sacrifice...
