Hamilton leads Mercedes 1-2 as Ferrari struggle – FP2 Report
Russian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton ended Friday practice as the fastest man ahead of Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas as Ferrari failed to match their rivals. In a perfect response to Sebastian Vettel topping the opening 90-minute session, Hamilton's time of 1:33.385 was enough to beat his team-mate's time by two tenths of a second and, more importantly for the Briton, beat Vettel's time by half-a-second. Red Bull turned a few heads by managing to go third and fourth quickest, however they will be out of contention for qualifying due to their power unit penalties this weekend.
