Hamilton predicts three-way fight in Singapore

Lewis Hamilton is encouraged by Mercedes’ progress and expects his team to make it a three-way fight with Ferrari and Red Bull at this weekend’s Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Mercedes struggled for pace at last year’s race in Singapore, when the reigning world champions’ were consigned to the third-row of the grid after a difficult qualifying in which Hamilton finished over half a second adrift of poleman Sebastian Vettel, before sealing an unlikely win in what turned out to be a dramatic race.
