Mick Schumacher wins at Nurburgring to revive championship hopes in F3

Mick Schumacher took victory in the first F3 race of round eight at the Nurburgring. Schumacher took the lead of the race with a decisive move into turn one on teammate Robert Shwartzman, down the inside of the Russian driver. Schumacher didn't have it all his own way, a safety car closed the relatively small gap he had over Shwartzman but the German didn't buckle under the pressure. A race-long battle with his Prema teammate ebbed and flowed with the leader's gap down to under a second towards the end of the race. A recovering Dan Ticktum was able to catch the lead battle and pressured Shwartzman which in turn, allowed Schumacher to escape at the front. The Red Bull junior driver had...
