Legendary circuit Imola eyeing F1 comeback

The Grand Prix of San Marino, it was a thing up until 2006. The iconic circuit has been removed from the F1-calendar since that year, but reports have come out that the organization of the circuit want to make a push for a comeback. According to FormulaPassion, an Italian source, Imola's original plan was to take Monza's place on the calendar. The Italian circuit recently renewed their contract, however, so that's no longer an option. The new plan is to make Imola the Grand Prix of Europe.
