Pat Fry rejoins McLaren technical team

McLaren have bolstered their technical team by bringing in former technical chief Pat Fry, as the team seek to improve the performance of their cars. Having undergone a a restructure over the course of the season, McLaren have brought back Pat Fry, who worked for the team from 1993-2010. The announcement comes just a couple of weeks after they confirmed the signing of Toro Rosso's technical chief James Key. However, with Key's start date yet to be confirmed, McLaren have sought to bring in somebody who can help guide the preparations for the 2019 car.
