RUMOUR: McLaren to announce 2nd driver in September

McLaren will announce their second driver for 2019 by the end of September, RaceFans have reported, as the team communicated this towards their investors in a conference. The Woking-based team currently have one confirmed driver for 2019, as Carlos Sainz Junior will make the switch from Renault at the end of the year. The Spaniard will be replaced by Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, who will get replaced by Pierre Gasly from Toro Rosso. The last place at McLaren will likely be filled by Esteban Ocon, but the Frenchman has had trouble fitting his 6'1" (186 cm) frame into the car. He'll still be the favourite for the seat.  Current driver Stoffel Vandoorne's seat looks...
