Räikkönen States That Qualifying Result was 'Not A Disaster'

Kimi Räikkönen admitted that sixth was not the place his Scuderia Ferrari should have finished in qualifying but is hoping for a better time during the race at the Belgian Grand Prix. The Finnish driver had topped Free Practice 2 on Friday and hoped to have been in the mix for pole position and while qualifying wasn’t ideal, Räikkönen stresses it is not a “disaster”. “The weekend so far had being going in the right direction and the car was fine,' said Räikkönen.  “The result of this qualifying is far from ideal, but not a disaster. “For sure this is not the place we should have finished today.” The rain arrived at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps just in time for Q3...
