Gasly Admits He Didn't Expect Ricciardo To Leave Red Bull

Newly promoted Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Pierre Gasly says that he didn't expect Daniel Ricciardo to announce he would be leaving the team for Renault Sport Formula One Team during the summer break. Gasly will partner alongside Max Verstappen for the 2019 Formula 1 Season, after spending two seasons with his current team Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda. The twenty-two year old has had a promising start to his F1 career, securing Honda's best ever result with fourth place at the Bahrain Grand Prix in only their second race with the Italian team.
