Vandoorne targeting upturn in form after positive Hungary race

Belgian Grand Prix – Stoffel Vandoorne is optimistic of continuing his 'more positive' Hungarian Grand Prix pace into a strong performance at his home race. Having been outperformed by Fernando Alonso throughout this season, Vandoorne seat is at risk for next year, with junior driver Lando Norris – who will be on FP1 duties this weekend – and Force India's Esteban Ocon linked with the seat. Vandoorne received a new McLaren chassis for the previous race at the Hungaroring, which yielded pace improvements.
