Italian media expecting new Ferrari deal for Raikkonen within days

It could be announced in a matter of days, perhaps even hours, but a new deal between Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari is done and dusted according to the Italian press. Until recently, it was expected the 2007 world champion would close the curtain on his career in Grand Prix racing. While the Finn expressed his interest in remaining a Grand Prix driver, his hopes appeared to be dashed by the Scuderia's decision to slot in the mercurial Charles Leclerc as Sebastian vettel's team mate for 2019. Character-building years at Ferrari have changed Vettel - Horner According to the Corriere della Sera however, Maranello is all set for a status quo, with a deal announced at Spa or next week at Monza....
