Brendon Hartley: I can 'hold my head high' irrespective of future

Toro Rosso’s Brendon Hartley says he can 'hold my head high' in terms of his performances, even if he loses his Formula 1 seat at the end of 2018. Ex-Red Bull junior and WEC/Le Mans champion Hartley was drafted into Toro Rosso’s line-up at the back end of 2017 and retained his seat for this season, alongside Pierre Gasly. Hartley, though, has scored just a couple of points compared to the 26 amassed by Gasly, and Red Bull has explored alternatives for 2019, including a highly-publicised chase of McLaren junior Lando Norris.
