Alonso quits F1: Who will McLaren pick for 2019?
Fernando Alonso's decision to quit Formula 1 at the end of 2018 gives McLaren a serious headache as they plan their 2019 driver line-up. Shorn of the star man, who will Zak Brown entrust with aiding the rebuilding job for the beleaguered British team? We take a look at the candidates. Had McLaren convinced Alonso to stay, the Belgian would have likely found himself out of a job after being comprehensively thrashed by his team-mate in 2018.
