Claire Williams: "Moving forward as someone else's B-team never happens"
Everyone at Williams knows they are experiencing their worst ever season. With the gearbox deal and Toto Wolff expressing his interests in appointing a 'b' team, it's looking likely that Williams will become this. Claire Williams admits it is an option, as long as Williams remains independent. Mercedes are desperate to copy rivals Ferrari who have a relationship with Sauber and Haas. It will be advantageous for the German team. They can standardise more parts, provide financial support and collect extra data.
