McLaren? Toro Rosso? Norris decides...

Lando Norris says he would prefer to remain with McLaren in 2019, whether he is handed a race seat in Formula 1 or not. Toro Rosso made an attempt to loan Norris earlier this season and he has been linked to the team for 2019 in a move that could grease the wheels of technical director James Key's switch to Woking. McLaren academy driver Norris has built a fearsome reputation at just 18 years old and began 2018 as a favourite for the Formula 2 title, having won European F3 last year. He made the perfect start, winning the opening race of the season, however he has slipped off the pace of Mercedes junior George Russell in recent weeks.
