Hockenheim follows the trend with third DRS zone

Formula 1 race director Charlie Whiting has confirmed that next week's German Grand Prix at Hockenheim will feature a third DRS zone located on the track's main straight. The race returns to the F1 calendar this year after missing from the schedule in 2017. The additional DRS zone, destined once again to promote overtaking, will compliment the existing two detection and activation areas situated between Turn 1 and 2, and Turns 5 and 6.
