Alonso pleased with McLaren's efforts at Silverstone

Fernando Alonso admits he is pleased with his team's efforts on Sunday admist speculation the driver is unhappy at McLaren. Alonso has admitted this season that qualifying has been McLaren's weakness and that was shown at the weekend as Alonso failed to make it to Q3 for the eighth time already this season. The Spaniard was positive despite this and claims he was happy with the battle he was able to take part in with his midfield rivals. The 36-year-old made up five places to end with a positive result on Sunday.
