Ricciardo hoping for upturn in fortunes in Germany

Daniel Ricciardo Daniel Ricciardo is hoping the German Grand Prix will bring an upturn in fortunes after three frustrating Formula 1 weekends. Ricciardo finished fifth in the British Grand Prix, after finding himself on the back foot strategically in the race after stopping for a second time two laps before the safety car was deployed. He also suffered a DRS failure on his fastest lap in qualifying, and comes on the back of a retirement in the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend. 'Since Monaco we haven't really had things go our way,' he said. 'I'll still take a Monaco win but I don't want that to be the last hurrah.
