Wolff understands Hamilton's emotions
Toto Wolff says he appreciates the raw emotions that Lewis Hamilton showed after claiming pole position for the British Grand Prix on Saturday. Mercedes team prinicipal Wolff feels Hamilton was the difference at Silverstone. Hamilton trailed his rival Sebastian Vettel from the start of Q3, but managed to turn it around to beat the German by 0.044s in the scorching heat. The pole for Hamilton equals Ayrton Senna for most poles at a driver's home race - with six. Hamilton says he was "shaking through emotion" after the qualifying. Wolff has defended the driver's passion and emotional outpouring and claims it could give Hamilton the edge when it comes to the drivers' championship....
