McLaren to sell-off some of their most iconic F1 cars

Lost amid almost constant headlines surrounding the dramatic changes in management at McLaren this past week is the fact that the Woking outfit are putting up for sale the iconic Formula 1 cars that made them the most successful team in the history of the sport. In the most recent McLaren Group annual report the team informs shareholders: 'Over the past 50 years, as a result of our racing pragramme, the Group has established a large collection of heritage race cars and other vehicles which chronicle our racing history and have been used to serve as promotional vehicles for the brand within the McLaren Technology Centre ('MTC') and also at museums, dealerships and heritage track days...
