Hockenheim reportedly not on 2019 calendar!
The F1 is expected to announce next year's calendar this week, but Auto Motor und Sport reporter Tobi Grüner already knows that Hockenheim will no longer be part of the calendar next year, with the second American Grand Prix in Miami taking its place. Like Silverstone, Hockenheim has been known to struggle financially in recent years, as the German venue is losing money every time they host the German Grand Prix. They had already been rumoured to be removed from the F1-calendar, but it seems to be final now. Silverstone, however, will still be part of the F1-programme for at least another year.
