Sainz keen to move on quickly after French disappointment

An eighth placed finish and keeping up your six-race points scoring streak does not sound like a poor afternoon, especially after your team mate finished just behind you to complete a double points finish in your team’s home race, but that is how Carlos Sainz was feeling after a late loss of power cost him two positions. Sainz was running as high as third in the opening laps after the turn 1 crash that saw Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas suffer damage and several other take to the runoff areas.
