Classic F1: What happened at the last French Grand Prix?

French Grand Prix – For some, it might seems like only a couple of years ago that the French Grand Prix was a near-permanent fixture on the Formula One calendar, but it's almost ten years to the day that Formula One last raced in France. Who can remember how the last French Grand Prix unfolded? The previous French Grand Prix took place in the June of the 2008 season, a year that was predominantly contested by the two oldest teams on the grid, Ferrari and McLaren, with BMW Sauber emerging as dark horses in both championships.
