Marko: "Rarely seen Max as depressed as in Monte Carlo"
Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko has revealed that Max Verstappen was not doing well after the Monaco Grand Prix, as Marko told that he's never seen Verstappen as beaten and depressed as he was in the Principality. Talking to Motorsport-magazin, Marko already admitted that he thinks that the criticism towards the Dutchman is partially justified, but he also realises that the morale of the 20-year-old is low right now. "I've rarely seen him so beaten and depressed as in Monte Carlo," Marko said. "He takes this very much to heart. "It's because his teammate has won while he only drove to a puny ninth place."
